JOB DESCRIPTION — HAIR BRAIDER

Looking for a new and refreshing workspace for your hair braiding business brand? We are welcoming new and

experienced hairstylists, braiders, and hair extension technicians to join the Braids and Wigs team, located in

London, Ontario.

SOME THINGS WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Must have experience in braiding, knotless braids, hairstyling, hair cutting, hair colour, locs, and hair extensions

(required)

• Additional courses, licenses, or certificates related to hair (if any)

• A portfolio to show — preferably digital, or located on social media

• A pre-existing online presence or clientele (preferred)

• Ability to be flexible with other styles, and be detail-oriented (preferred)

• Ability to do repairs and correct other stylists' work (preferred)

• Clean, positive, professional, friendly, and punctual during client appointments

• Basic background information on previous work experience and education level

• Knowledge in sanitation and infection control

• Most disposable supplies and cleaning supplies

• Hair stations (1 chair, 1 mirror, 1 stand, 1 trolley) and intake forms

• Designated hair wash station and essentials

EMPLOYMENT INFO

• Part-time position

• Pay: From CA$17.60 per hour

• Start date: As soon as possible

• Flexible schedule within working hours: Mon–Sat 9 am–8 pm, Sun 11 am–6 pm
