We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team in a dynamic kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, with a keen eye for detail and an understanding of food safety practices. As a Cake Decorator, you will play a crucial role in creating visually stunning and delicious cakes that delight our customers.

Responsibilities

• Design and decorate cakes according to customer specifications and seasonal themes.

• Utilize various decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and airbrushing.

• Ensure all cakes meet quality standards for presentation and taste.

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to prepare cake bases and other baked goods.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating area in compliance with food safety regulations.

• Package finished products for display or customer orders.

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with cake selections and custom orders.

• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually enhance decorating skills.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cake decorating or a similar role within the food industry is preferred.

• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.

• Strong attention to detail with an artistic flair for design.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

• Familiarity with basic kitchen equipment and tools used in baking and decorating.

• A background in restaurant or culinary arts is a plus.
