Hours: Friday & Saturday nights, 9:00 PM – 2:30 AM, SEASONAL

Compensation: $18–$20/hour (based on experience) + tips

Employment Type: Seasonal (position ends in spring when warm weather returns)

Job Description

Joe Kool’s, one of London’s most iconic nightlife spots, is looking for a friendly and reliable Coat Checker to join our team for the winter season. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, social environment and has excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously and provide coat check services in a professional manner.

• Tag, store, and organize coats and personal items safely and efficiently.

• Maintain accurate tracking of all checked items and ensure proper return to guests.

• Keep the coat check area clean, organized, and secure throughout the night.

• Handle tips and cash responsibly.

• Provide friendly and attentive customer service to enhance the guest experience.

• Support team members and management with other duties as needed during peak times.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.

• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working late-night shifts.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Friendly, approachable, and professional attitude.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a busy environment.
