Qualifications:

• Ability to work well under limited supervision.

• Cleaning experience required.

• Ability to communicate and present yourself in a courteous, professional manner with guests, team and management.

• Must have a strong work ethic and also display a high degree of pride and integrity in job performance.

• Ability to left and carry 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

• Ability to tolerate cleaning solutions on a regular basis.

• Ability to walk, stoop, bend, reach, pull, kneel, carry, lift and stand for long periods of time.

Job Duties:

• Maintaining the hotel public areas to ensure a safe and clean experience for all hotel guests.

• Maintaining and cleaning all public areas of the hotel including lobby, public washrooms, guest exercise room, guest laundry & elevators. Includes floors, glass & facilities.

• Helping in the housekeeping department as required to strip guest rooms and to remove garbage.

• Regular parking lot patrols to ensure cleanliness and to pick up garbage as required.

• Helping with the snow removal/maintenance process during the winter months.

• Vacuuming guest wing hallways and stairways.

• Helping to clean meeting rooms of dishes and garbage at the end of the business day.

• Some physical lifting of meeting room tables and chairs as required.

• Other duties as assigned to aid in the overall cleanliness and smooth operation of the hotel and conference centre.
