Dishwasher

Our location at Colonel Talbot Road (Highway 4) and Highway 401 is not serviced by public transportation and candidates must have their own vehicle to apply.

Job Summary: Provides the kitchen and dining area with clean and sanitary dishware. Assist in the set up, operator and clean up of kitchen.

Job Duties:

• washes dishes, glassware, pots, pans, silverware and kitchen items, ensuring that sanitizer on dish machine and pot sinks meet specific requirements for health standards;

• sets up stations with flatware, dishware, glassware and coffee and tea supplies;

• keeps kitchen and dish are in clean and orderly condition at all times by sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, wiping counters, walls, equipment and organizing shelves in order to maintain a sanitary work station and meet mandated health compliance requirements;

• adheres to all safety and security policies and procedures as outlined by hotel standards and federal, provincial and local laws;

• maintains superior standards of quality, service and cleanliness in the kitchen and service area;

• consistently maintains a neat, organized and clean workspace and uniform;

• performs other duties as assigned;

• must be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment;

• must be able to work a flexible schedule, (Days and evenings including weekends and holidays.
