Join Our Team as a Full-Time General Labourer in London, ON!

Your Mission:

As a General Labourer, you play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of our facility. You will support the maintenance and operations teams by ensuring facility equipment areas are clean and operational, performing preventative tasks, and assisting with general plant upkeep.

Here’s what an ordinary day of work might look like:

· Clean facility equipment and surrounding areas to support maintenance and operational activities.

· Keep the plant site and exterior building areas waste-free, including snow and ice removal from walkways, ramps, and doors.

· Empty garbage bins throughout plant areas and ensure proper waste disposal.

· Perform pre-use safety checks on plant equipment, reporting and recording any defects.

· Operate mobile equipment as needed to maintain a clean and safe plant environment.

· Support maintenance activities by cleaning work areas, handling tool handovers, and ensuring proper documentation.

· Operate pressure washing equipment as required.

· Maintain compliance with safety protocols, including reporting incidents and enforcing PPE/RPE requirements.

This job is for you if you:

· Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).

· Have at least 6 months of experience as a general labourer or in a similar role. Experience in waste management or a related industry is an asset.

· Enjoy both independent work and teamwork.

· Demonstrate attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

· Can work in challenging conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.

· Hold a valid Driver's License (preferred).

· Have experience operating mobile equipment such as front-end loader, bobcats, skid steers, or forklifts (an asset).

Compensation package:

· Hourly Wage: $21.97

· Paid time off

· On-the-job training

Schedule: 8:00AM to 4:00PM Monday to Friday.
