We are currently hiring for an Inside Sales Representative in our London, Ontario location

The Inside Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by effectively managing the company's order book and fostering strong relationships with existing customers. This role ensures the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) while delivering exceptional customer service that promotes repeat business and customer loyalty. The incumbent acts as a key liaison between customers and internal teams to streamline sales operations and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.


Main Function Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and maintain customer sales orders based on purchase orders, customer forecasts, and new awards

Proactively ensure timely receipt of purchase orders and follow up with customers for updates or clarifications as necessary

  • Review purchase orders against RFQ's for completeness and accuracy. Prepare and issue purchase order acknowledgements in compliance with company standards
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers' sales inquiries, resolving issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. This includes expedites, POD's (proof of deliveries) etc.
  • Monitor the sales backlog regularly and collaborate with production, Engineering, QA and purchasing teams and to update the production tracker accordingly with any issues arise that require information/clarification from customers
  • Develop formal request for quotations (RFQs) by collaborating with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Purchasing departments. Calculate sell prices and ensure timely submission to customers
  • Participate in internal meetings and customer meetings as required
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of past-due customer invoices by coordinating with the Accounts Receivable team
  • Process return goods authorizations (RGAs) and credit memo requests efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Manage the fulfillment of open orders to ensure timely delivery and closure as per customer requirements if applicable.
  • Undertake other duties and special projects as assigned by the Inside Sales Manager or senior leadership to support the overall sales function

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Diploma in Business is an asset
  • Minimum one year customer service experience as asset
  • Accurate data entry skills with superior attention to detail
  • Must have highly proficient knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Responsive to company and customer needs
  • Work with minimum supervision
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong ability to multi-task workload in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Must be able to interface with all departments within the company, as well as multi-cultural customers.
  • Sets high standards of performance for self-assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; self-imposing standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed.
  • Knowledge and understanding of an MRP system
  • Knowledge of production planning
  • Ability to read drawings is an asset
  • Minimal travel required (occasional supplier visits or training as needed)
  • Follows Safran Policies & Procedures
  • Ability to work in accordance with Ontario Health & Safety legislation

This position requires extended periods of sitting while working with computers and viewing computer monitors and other office equipment. Finger dexterity needed in using misc. office equipment such as telephone, computer and copy machine, etc. Bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to approximately twenty pounds are required during tasks related to the job

Fri 8:00am – 2:00pm

Salary
$42,000 - $45,000

This position involves working with controlled goods and is subject to Canada's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) regulations. As a result, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents who meet the necessary security clearance requirements.
