Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. This position requires a commitment to food safety and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.

• Follow food safety protocols to ensure safe food handling and storage practices.

• Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients as needed.

• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary.

• Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.

• Participate in daily cleaning tasks to maintain a sanitary work environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.

• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new techniques in the kitchen.
