As a Line Cook at Papi's Fine Dining Steakhouse, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen's daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. You will work closely with our Executive Chef and Sous Chef to execute a menu that reflects the excellence and sophistication of our establishment.

Responsibilities:

1. Execute precise and consistent preparation of menu items in accordance with Papi's recipes and quality standards.

2. Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to coordinate and expedite orders efficiently during service hours.

3. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

4. Adhere to portion control, freshness, and presentation standards to meet Papi's culinary expectations.

5. Assist in the development of new dishes and contribute ideas to continually enhance the menu.

6. Monitor and manage inventory levels of ingredients, notifying the Sous Chef of any shortages or discrepancies.

7. Collaborate with colleagues to uphold a positive and productive kitchen environment.

8. Stay informed about industry trends, techniques, and new ingredients to bring creativity to the kitchen.

9. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Line Cook in a high-end or fine dining restaurant setting.

2. Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred.

3. Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and food handling procedures.

4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

7. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

8. Passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience to guests.
