We are currently seeking professional and reliable Loss Prevention Officers to join our security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventing theft, protecting company assets, and ensuring a safe environment for staff and customers.

This role requires strong observation skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle incidents calmly and lawfully.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store activity to prevent theft and fraud

• Observe and report suspicious behavior

• Conduct patrols of assigned areas

• Write clear and accurate incident reports

• Liaise with store management and law enforcement when required

• Maintain a professional presence at all times

• Follow company policies and applicable laws

• De-escalate situations safely and professionally

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (required)

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Legally eligible to work in Canada

• Strong communication and observation skills

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Previous loss prevention or security experience is an asset (not required)

Preferred Qualifications (Asset)

• Experience in retail loss prevention

• Knowledge of theft prevention techniques

• Conflict management or de-escalation training

• First Aid / CPR certification
