Boardwalk - Maintenance Associate

Responsibilities:
 

  • Address Maintenance Requests within 72 hours
  • Perform on-call emergency maintenance
  • Vacant suite maintenance and touch ups per established quality standards
  • General common area and building maintenance
  • Coordinate inspections of turnover suites with Customer Care Team
  • Preventative Maintenance inspections and reporting
  • Ensure contractors complete their work per established quality standards
  • Assist with snow removal
  • Complete other tasks and assist other sites as required

 

Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • 2 years maintenance service experience required
  • 3 years renovation experience an asset

 

Technical Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of English language both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with technology is an asset

 

Non-Technical Requirements:

  • Ensure to have all tools on the tool list prior to end of probationary period (list provided during interview)
  • Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
  • Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
  • Ability to fix the problem correctly the first time
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness

 

Additional Requirements:
 

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Own reliable vehicle
