As a Maintenance Millwright, you’ll bring technical skill and problem-solving expertise to the heart of our operation, helping maintain reliability today while strengthening performance for the future.
What You’ll Be Accountable For:
- Production Support: Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose issues, and restore operations safely and efficiently.
- Technical Expertise: Serve as a maintenance subject-matter expert, supporting teams with troubleshooting and repair solutions.
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute and improve corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance programs.
- Documentation & Reporting: Record maintenance work, parts usage, and service details accurately and on time.
- Equipment Reliability: Maintain machinery, utilities, and facilities to meet operations, safety, and quality standards.
- Project Support: Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and new projects from design through execution.
- Contractor Coordination: Oversee external contractors to ensure work meets safety, quality, timeline, and budget expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, safety, and equipment performance.
- Workplace Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Compliance & Safety: Follow Quality Management System, Health & Safety, and ISO 14001 Environmental requirements.
What you’ll bring
- Certified Industrial Millwright qualification with proven industrial experience
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment including pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, presses, and packaging systems
- Experience with preventative and reliability-focused maintenance practices
- Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions
- Comfort working with contractors and cross-functional teams
- Lean manufacturing knowledge is an asset
- Electrician license is an asset
- A safety-first mindset and strong attention to detail
