Pay: CA$18.00-CA$20.00 per hour

Job Duties/Responsibilities

The Mover is responsible for the safe delivery of products to customer sites. The mover works with a variety of individuals, including customers, contractors and cabinet installers to ensure the successful delivery of all cabinetry and components. The job duties and responsibilities of the position will include, but not be limited to:

· Deliver cabinets and related components to commercial job sites and residential customers within established deadlines by safely operating our delivery vehicle (cube van).

· Load and unload cabinets/components from delivery vehicle.

· Analyze delivery addresses to determine the most appropriate route with the driver.

· Follow all local and provincial driving laws and road regulations.

· Perform a vehicle inspection before and after each trip.

· Collect feedback from customers on provided products/services and resolve issues as necessary.

· Adhere to company operating policies and procedures; ensuring the delivery vehicle is clean and safe.

· Notify management of any necessary repairs or maintenance to the delivery vehicle.

· Report any accidents or injuries to management as soon as possible.

· Assist with various duties within the shop.

· Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications

The successful applicant will have the following requirements/qualifications:

Experience in the role considered an asset.

· Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent considered an asset.

· Valid G driver’s license is considered an asset.

· A good driving record.

· Knowledge of safe lifting and material handling procedures.

· Strong customer service skills with a commitment to customer satisfaction.

· Effective time management and organizational skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

· Working knowledge of the carpentry/construction industry, including processes, procedures, equipment, tools and machinery considered an asset.

· Knowledge of the safe operation of basic hand and power tools considered an asset

· Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist and walk for extended periods.

· Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. (with help)

· Overtime may be required.

Compensation and Benefits

· Full group benefits after one (1) year of service.
