The Product Specification Associate is a member of a highly motivated team leading key innovation initiatives
across the organization. Reporting to the Product Specification Planner, the Product Specification Associate will work
closely with internal departments providing support during the project lifecycle, from project initiation through to
execution and transition to regular operations. The associate will need to develop a strong working knowledge of
the Product Development and Commercialization processes. This position requires strong planning, analytical,
negotiation and people skills to ensure the proper administrative support of all chartered projects. The successful
candidate will be resourceful and a creative problem solver, capable of working independently with minimal
supervision, while also thriving in a collaborative team environment, a quick learner with an ability to consistently
meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and changing work environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys
working with digital tools and systems, and who is eager to explore innovative ways to improve product
documentation and project workflows. Comfort with technology and a proactive mindset are key to success in this
position.
Key Responsibilities:
Work to support the Product Specification team
Take ownership of all aspects of Product/Item set-up to ensure product
commercialization deadlines are meet including but not limited to:
GTIN / UPC set-up
Internal Item set-up (Dynamics)
Master Product List ownership
Sample coordination for GS1 photography
Filling out all product specs into 60-day notice data file
Maintaining specification sheets and product details within C15
Assist in maintaining comprehensive product documentation including but not limited
to:
Master Product Lifecycle Management [PLM] Tracker
New Product Development / Innovation R&D roadmap Tracker
Maintain and ensure data integrity in Organigram production systems for accurate
planning reporting, forecasting, and analytics, with a focus on the electronic database
for documents.
Assist in auditing projects throughout the year.
Create detailed meeting communications and circulate.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of proven experience in an administrative environment.
Ability to take directions
Team orientation and willingness to roll up sleeves to solve complex, dynamic
challenges
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to
support assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Demonstrated capability as a team player with strong interpersonal skills
Customer service attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
