All Terrain Property Maintenance Inc is hiring a Sweeper Operator to support our Logistics and Sweeping Division across a diverse portfolio of properties including condominiums, commercial plazas, industrial sites, schools, and high-traffic parking environments.

This is a hands-on equipment-based role for someone who takes pride in clean, professional results and understands the importance of site presentation, safety, and efficiency. You will work under the direction of an Operations Manager, executing route-based sweeping services and maintaining high-quality site standards.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

As a Sweeper Operator, you will:

  • Operate a sweeper unit to complete assigned routes safely and efficiently
  • Follow daily route plans, service schedules, and site specifications
  • Participate in morning huddles (safety, plan, expectations) and execute the day accordingly

Complete sweeping services including:

  • Removal of winter sand, gravel, debris, leaves, and organic material
  • Cleaning curb lines, corners, loading areas, traffic lanes, and high-traffic zones
  • Adjusting sweeping patterns based on parked vehicles, site congestion, and access limitations
  • Maintaining clean, debris-free surfaces that meet company quality standards

Manage equipment operation and performance:

  • Adjust broom pressure, vacuum systems, and water usage appropriately
  • Monitor equipment condition and report mechanical issues immediately
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Maintain strong awareness of site conditions and risks:

  • Identify and flag hazards such as potholes, oil spills, drainage issues, uneven pavement, and pedestrian conflict areas
  • Operate carefully around vehicles, buildings, curbs, landscaping, and client property
  • Avoid damage to surrounding property, irrigation systems, and site features

Support proper documentation and communication:

  • Complete job reports accurately and on time
  • Document inaccessible areas, blocked zones, and site issues
  • Communicate delays, equipment concerns, and operational issues to leadership

Maintain professional site standards:

  • Manage dust control and operate equipment in a way that protects surrounding areas
  • Avoid pushing debris into storm drains where possible
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and presentable throughout the shift
  • This role requires ownership. You are accountable for route completion, work quality, safe operation, and representing the company professionally on every site.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience operating sweeping equipment, heavy equipment, or similar machinery is preferred
  • Strong awareness of surroundings and ability to operate safely in active environments
  • Ability to follow direction, manage routes, and work independently
  • Attention to detail and pride in delivering clean, high-quality results
  • Reliable, consistent, and comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions
  • Ability to identify problems early and communicate them clearly
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract is required
  • Experience in landscaping, property maintenance, or logistics operations is considered an asset

Who You Are

  • You take pride in leaving a site noticeably better than you found it
  • You work with consistency and don’t cut corners
  • You stay focused and aware while operating equipment
  • You communicate clearly and don’t hesitate to flag issues early
  • You take responsibility for your work and follow through

Team Culture + Total Rewards

  • We’re proud of a team culture built on accountability, respect, and looking out for each other. We back that up with a total rewards approach designed to support our employees, on and off the job, through compensation, benefits, wellbeing resources, and development opportunities.
  • Pay that reflects skill and performance
  • Benefits options based on eligibility and tenure
  • Health and wellbeing supports, including an Employee Assistance Program
  • Ongoing training and coaching
  • Recognition, team events, and an environment where good work gets noticed
  • Opportunity to grow into future roles and seasons
  • Apply today if you’re experienced with equipment, take pride in clean, professional work, and want to be part of a team that runs with clear standards.
