This position will be responsible to cataloguing our 'showcase' items; high end items such as cell phones, tablets, computers, ear buds and headphones, etc. You will be responsible to catalogue the products for upcoming auctions by testing the functionality of each item- is the phone locked, does it power on/off, connectivity to wi-fi and Bluetooth, are there any defects with the product, doing factory default resets on products, ensuring gaming systems are operational, ensure the condition reports are accurate and detailed to maximize bids from our customers. Working with our customized software program, you will maintain a steady pace of opening, testing, cataloguing and repackaging the products for resale. The success candidates will be very comfortable navigating their way through many systems and will possess an above average understanding of how technology works. You have an intrinsic need to always give your employer your best performance, your attention to detail is keen and you are a focused individual who can get the job done to meet their daily targets.

Successful candidates will be able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. They will be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout their shift, stand and walk for extended periods, and frequently bend, reach, squat, twist, and lift.

This role starts at a Level 1 hourly rate; $19 per hour. After three months of continuous employment, you will be eligible to enroll with our Group Benefit plan through Manulife - we offer Single or Family coverage with Dental care, Vision and paramedical services are included. The employer and employee each pay 50% of their premiums.
