We are seeking an experienced Welder & Structural Repair Technician with strong welding, fabrication, and repair capabilities to join our team. We are a fast-paced truck and trailer repair shop seeking a skilled Welder & Structural Repair Technician to support our growing operation. Our shop specializes in fleet maintenance, truck and trailer structural repairs, welding, hydraulic liftgate installation, and warranty service for truck body manufacturers and liftgate providers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team that values technical expertise, reliability, and pride in doing the job right.

Compensation: $25–$35 per hour, based on experience

Schedule:

  • Full-time day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – Hours may change
  • Monday to Friday schedule
  • Occasional weekend work as required
  • Overtime paid at time-and-a-half after 44 hours per week
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors, depending on job requirements

Job Tasks Include but not limited to:

  • Remove and replace roll-up door balancers and cables
  • Remove and replace wall panels and complete wall patch repairs efficiently
  • Repair or replace trailer side rails
  • Complete corner cap replacements
  • Perform full trailer roof replacements
  • Convert barn doors to roll-up doors and replace damaged door systems as required
  • Repair or replace dolly legs and sand shoes
  • Cut out and install trailer crossmembers

Additional Skills Considered an Asset:

  • Electrical wiring experience
  • Liftgate repair and installation experience
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid Class G driver’s license
  • Minimum of three years of verifiable structural repair or related mechanic experience
  • Strong welding and fabrication experience
  • Experience with truck and trailer structural repairs
