Facility Maintenance Coordinator – PERMANENT PART-TIME
Located in ARVA

SARI Therapeutic Riding is a non-profit charitable organization that provides therapeutic equine programs for people with special needs.

The Facility Maintenance Coordinator has a primary responsibility for the farm property and facility maintenance in accordance with PATH Intl. standards, policies and procedures including, but not limited to:

Hours: Maximum 20 hours per week, daytime, evenings and weekends as required.

Reports to: Executive Director

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance of facilities

2. Pasture management

3. Identifying proposed budget requirements for the coming year, reviewing proposed budget areas of responsibility and working within annual budgeted allowances

4. Raising property or building concerns in writing to the Executive Director, alongside research and gathering quotes for repairs and maintenance and highlighting any potential capital expenses

5. Support the preparation of the property for fundraising or special events as needed, attending on-farm events and supporting on-site initiatives

6. Maintaining proper and timely records regarding operational expenses and equipment repairs.

3. Working in a manner which respects the dignity of others in compliance with human rights legislation.

4. Maintaining a clean, well-organized workplace.

5. Other activities or reports as required by the Executive Director.
