Job Summary:
We are seeking a Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for assisting customers with their parts needs, providing exceptional
customer service, and ensuring the efficient operation of the parts department
and tool repair intake.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in identifying and purchasing required parts
- Provide accurate and timely price quotes
- Process orders and returns efficiently
- Maintain proper inventory levels and organization within the parts department
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure correct parts are ordered
- Handle customer inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email
- Data entry of tool parts warranty claims
- Utilize electronic parts catalogs to identify correct parts
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a parts advisor role or similar position preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to negotiate and upsell products effectively
- Proficiency in order fulfillment processes
- Experience in retail sales or cashiering is beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
