Qualifications:
O.S.S.D., Completion of College/Vocational or Technical Training in a related field.
3 years Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) building project experience.
Ability to read and understand Industrial, ICI drawings and specifications.
Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
Thorough planning, organizational and documentation skills.

Computer Skills: word processing, AutoCAD, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, file management.
Information resourcing abilities (books, internet, suppliers, etc.).
Grade 1 CSA approved safety footwear.

Position Duties/Responsibilities:

Upon award of quoted orders/projects, this critical position is responsible for effectively coordinating/managing and performing the following important tasks:

· Review architectural drawings and specifications.

· Prepare submittals for awards based on estimating info, specifications, and architectural drawings.

· Check submittals prepared by other team members before submission.

· Submit documents to contractors, architects and others and monitor submission status.

· Properly manage all documents and regularly communicate with the customer.

· Effectively manage projects/orders based on established delivery needs.

· Issue cost effective purchase orders to suppliers and create stock requisitions.

· Create work orders for our in-house welding shop and service departments.

· Review/receive products as may be required to ensure accuracy.

· Verify products before shipment.

· Confirm safe delivery to site.

· Supervise the delivery and receiving of large/valuable orders on site.

· Visit jobsites to meet with customers and ensure the job exceeds their expectations.

· Assist with Inventory counts.
