Pay $16.83–$17.50 an hour Job type Full-time Temporary 71 Durrow Street, London, ON Job Overview We are seeking a skilled COMMERCIAL Tire Technician for Truck and Trailers to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for commercial vehicle maintenance and excellent customer service skills. Proficiency in both English and Punjabi is required. The job is physically demanding, please do not apply if you do not have the experience.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. We are looking for someone to work with us on a contract basis as the business grows. Currently looking for someone to work 9am to 6pm - 6 days a week.
Hours may vary depending on availability.
Requirements - Valid G drivers license with clean driving record -
Tire Technician certification preferred - 1 plus years of experience working with COMMERCIAL vehicles is required
Familiarity with the London and 401 area is an asset Duties
- Perform tire repairs and replacements
- Inspect tires for wear and damage
- Maintain accurate records of services performed
- Maintain inventory records and vehicle cleanliness when required
- Will be required to perform roadside assistance on occasion in company vehicle.
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions
- On the site training will be provided for as long as needed to ensure you are comfortable with our operations
Experience - Previous experience in COMMERCIAL tire service is mandatory
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and tire maintenance
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Customer service skills and friendly attitude
